Advert Ideas

Advertisements in music field can distinguish a lot from the other fields. It's really common to see brands endorsing artists to exposure their product. A example of this is Zildjian which used to endorse the Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, soo that their cymbals and drum sticks could be massively exposed. furthermore it's not hard to find associating Fender guitars with Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour or Gibson Guitars with Jimmy Page.

Instead of going towards those direction (endorsement and hard sell) I'd like to try a soft sell, selling a lifestyle. I barely found music adverts that sell a lifestyle so I  will create one by my self. One of my main references are surf and skate brand adverts such as Vans and Billabong, because they successfully sell a lifestyle and those brands are commonly related with chill and good vibes. Inspired by the Ernie Ball flea on the top advertisement I created a slogan to the brand: You play on the heartstring. I would like people to relate the string brand with good vibe, peace and love but also with strong and wild playing so that I thinking about using a sunset image as  a background for the poster but use a strong powerful name that can be associated with wildness and animals. For the logo I am thinking about mixing elements that easily relate with the the the feelings and features I said before like good vibe and wildness. So that to achieve that result using flowers and animals might be a great choice as well as something that relate with the product the brand will sell, which is guitar strings.
