Website Updates & Evaluation

 Planning stage:

● What were your initial ideas for creating a website? style / name / template

My initial ideas for this creating this website were to create a place where I could show my portfolio and tell more about Pedro as an  artist and music producer. I chose to use my own name for the website so that it's immediately associated with myself. I used the Marcus Berg template, and my reference of style were the Red Hot Chili Peppers website and also the van Gogh night sky, once I chose the color of the websites based on Van Gogh's panting

● Do you have a tagline on your website?

I do not have a tagline on the website, I used a direct reference of my roles instead

Research:

● Which designers / artists (relevant to your continuation route) websites did you

look for inspiration?

My aspirations for my website were Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl jam's websites, they are really clear, organized and easy to navigate

● How many pages did you want to make on your website and why? Did that

change as you progressed onto the research / designing stage?

I have 5 different pages on my website, home page, portfolio, dude's theme, about page and contact. It did not change through research because the artists' website I researched had the same structure and mostly the same subjects

Content:

● What is the purpose of your website?

The purpose or my website is share my portfolio and work in a professional way

● Who are your potential website users?

People that are interested in my work who would like to contact me and collaborate

● Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website?

Because it is a way to expose my work and publicize myself as musician and music producer

Design:

● Which design elements / tools did you use? (e.g.: infographics, fixed header,

static background image, navigation menu design, text boxes, image galleries,

social media feed) and why?

The tools I used to carry out my website and the reason I used then were: Statistic background- It makes my website unique and personalized the aesthetic of it tells indirectly more about myself and personality. Also it makes the website visually more appealing. Navigation menu design- I used this tools to makes the website clearer and organized, so that there is not a lot of unnecessary information, it also makes the website more visually clear and consistent. I also used a Soundcloud link to present my work on the portfolio page.

Navigation:

● Does your website have working social media icon links?

Yes  I added link to my blog and Soundcloud profile

● Are your pages connected / interlinked?

It is possible to navigate through different pages using  the menu navigation. The only pages that are interlinked are the portfolio page and my final project page

● Is it easy to navigate?

Yes, it is easy to navigate on my website

● Does the “Contact” page / email link work?

Yes, it works
