On this post I will reflect about the my experiences and outcomes in the creative media module in this term. Overall, I enjoyed the making the projects in spite of it difficult. I stepped out my comfort zone and worked in projects not related to my following course at DMU such as the photography and chapbook project. When it comes to first project, I improved my technical understanding about the settings of the camera and composition for portraits. I learned more in depth about rule of thirds, triangles concept low key and high key lighting and how they can help to convey a message. I made three researches for my final project which made me considerably improve my vision of photography and understand other techniques such Chiaroscuro. The researches is still my weakness comparing with the rest of my abilities, however I genuinely see an improvement comparing with my previous researches for last term. The chapbook project was remarkably harder than the photography project, once I am not an accomplished and creative writer. The subject of chapbook was describe the cathartic experience I had while writing the lyrics for my chapbook. To carry out this project I made researches and evaluate other lyrics and poetry. While analyzing the texts I learnt a lot about poetry and literary devices, which was really helpful to create my final project. Furthermore, I learnt more in depth about book conventions and how to edit and publish a book using a platforms such as Canvas. To conclude I am still believe there is a lot to improve but I am satisfied with my development and the final results of my project, it is not perfect indeed but I pushed myself to do my best.

Following that steps I copied the link and pasted it on the website link option in the button tool in Wix and updated my website so that by clicking in the button it is possible to visualize my Chapbook.
Website Gallery: Book project
On today's class we are creating a gallery for the book and add it to the portfolio page.
Firstly, I clicked on page on the left top then clicked in manage pages and added a new one, a renamed the page with the name of my book, made it a sub page and add it to my portfolio page. After that I change the font of my text to match the rest of the website and also added a button and linked to the portfolio page. To add the button I clicked on add element and then I selected button. I also added a button to the portfolio page and linked it to my project page. After that I went back to the book page and added a new text and wrote the description for my book. I changed the font for Arial Black and change the size for 16 pts. Them by clicking in add element a added a embed code with the link my book on Canvas. However, it does not seem to work properly so I might end up adding a picture of the book with a link to my final book.

Object lesson: Final work
On this post I will be sharing my final work for the object lesson as well as explaining the tools and the process of creation. I started recording my object using two condenser microphones to obtain a stereo image. I recorded this using pro tools which is the same software I used to mix and master this track. After recorded I created a new auxiliar track and I send the audio recorded as pre fader, so that I could edit the volume of the tracks independently. to send the track I used bus 1-2 and set them as pre fader. On the auxiliar track I added plugins such as reverb, delay and eq. After that I went to the automation and added the plugins placed on the aux track to automate the sound on the main track. I started experimenting with feedback knob automating the track in touch and latch mode. Within a couple of hours experimenting and exploring the tools I came up with my final work:
Book Creating Process One
After that, I added the pages I already wrote and the drawings I made.

Poem Analysis: If you forget Me
On this post I will be analyzing the poem If you forget me (Pablo Neruda, 1952):
I want you to know
one thing.
You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.
Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.
If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.
If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.
But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine.
Pablo Neruda, 1952
The Poem explores the complexities of love and loss. As Jenson (2016) explain after the fall of Communism in Chile in 1948, Neruda was exiled from his native country and the poem is a warning to his lover of what will happen if she forget him while he is away. According to Manugeren (2020) the poem is based on the three elements that are essential when it comes to love: commitment, intimacy, and passion. The poem is written in a direct mode of address once is directly written for his loved one. the first two stanzas Neruda talks about the possible consequences of a break up and also reassure his love and commitment. On the third and forth stanzas the poem change direction completely once Neruda explore more in depth the possible consequences of being forgotten. Zaluku (2020) claims that unlikely the first half of the poem which is romantic and flattering the third and forth stanzas paint a complete different picture and serve as a warning to his mistress. In the fifth stanza Neruda is still explaining the consequences of what would happen if she forget him. However, the direction of the poem changes again on the sixth stanza. "The sixth stanza explains the opposite of the third stanza to the fifth stanza. In this stanza, Neruda explained that if his girlfriend still wants to be with him forever, he will not leave and will continue with his girlfriend forever". (Zaluku p49, 2020).
When it come to literary devices Neruda use metaphors and personification to explain what will happen if he get forgotten that can be exemplified in the following lines :
"if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me"
Furthermore, Neruda use Enjambment throughout the poem and that can be observed in the following lines:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.
